Christmas

Christmas was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything more!!

I had the house completely decorated by the beginning of December (on the inside, we didn't do lights on the outside of the house, but next year we will for sure)! and was all festive. We got our tree from Grandma Malcolm and we love it, it looks pretty and we kept the ornaments up higher so Khloe couldn't steal them off the tree, although, we never had a problem with her getting into the tree.

I had the presents wrapped and ready to go. Khloe had to investigate a little bit and she crawled around the tree looking at the presents and the dancing carousel horses that had got from Carol. Khloe reached out and touched a few presents as if she was inspecting them, it made me laugh!!! :D

On Christmas Eve we even turned our fire place on for a while and I must say, IT LOOKED SO PRETTY! The 3 of us were curled up on the couch watching a movie. We were just waiting our sweet girl to fall asleep so we could go to bed. We were watching a Christmas Special (Had Jim Carey in it). Khloe fell asleep about 10 p.m. and we just relaxed and went to bed. In the morning I was awake at 6 am just waiting to hear Khloe make her morning noises so we could start the fun festivities...

But of course, she decided that OF ALL days, she was going to SLEEP IN ON CHRISTMAS. She woke up at 8:10 and finally we could begin. We got a picture of what Santa had left of the donuts. We decided he always gets cookies, why not switch it up and get him something different. He loved it and didn't leave much at all. The cup was empty- so he chugged his milk. Of course she didn't get what all was going on, but it was still great to see her help us TEAR into her gifts. She was so excited with the sound of the paper shredding and she was pretty into it for about 3 presents. Then she was done. hahaha. We finished opening all the presents and started putting hers together and taking them out of the boxes. She got:

1.) so many clothes about 10-12 outfits

2.) A Kitchen set (made in USA and took us about 2 hours to get all together so many screws and pieces that we had to cut out, but its cute)
3.) Bubble set for the bathtub

4.)an adorable owl hat -she is gonna be wearing that so much. She doesn't really like it but I love it and it keeps her ears warm.

5.) $60 from Grandpa Gene

6.) We all got our $100 from my Grandma & Grandpa Renz

7.) 14 pairs of socks

8.) sippie cups

9.) pop corn popper from Grandma Carol

10.) leggings from Grandma Carol

so many things, its hard to think of them all under pressure.

I was even able to surprise Jason with his Jersey for Lee from Cowboys. Joey helped me be super sneaky and trick him into thinking FEDeX man lost the order... NOT.. MERRY CHRISTMAS BABE!!!

About 9:30 a.m Carol came over for breakfast, we made omelets and just visited for about an hour. It was so nice to have Carol over for a while. Khloe, didn't really love the idea though. The moment Carol came in, Khloe was whining and boobin' and wanted us to hold her.. The moment Carol said "bye bye" Khloe was back on the floor playing. She is just a brat to her Grandma. In time she'll love her so much and won't want to come back home with us, hahaha...

About 2:30 we loaded in the car, Khloe in her beautiful Christmas Dress from My Grandma and Grandpa Renz and headed to Roberta's to give the Christmas presents. It was supposed to be a quick stop but we ended up staying about 30 minutes. Then headed to Grandma Malcolm's for Christmas Dinner. It was so good. We had turkey, ham, potatoes, dip and chips, meat balls, stuffing, pies, jello salads, pasta salads, green salads, so much food. It was delicious. We were all laughing and talking and just really enjoying each other's company, it was nice!

We were getting ready to leave and had told the nieces and nephews that part of our present was a sleepover and that they could just call whenever they wanted to come over and we'd have a nice sleepover.. Well they all decided they wanted to do it that night. We agreed and said to meet at our house at about 7 and we'd have our party/sleepover. We then went to Rory & Ellie's to give them their gifts and visited for about 3o minutes, then headed home. We had 11 kids sleepover that night (well 12 including Khloe); Raeanne, Kelly, Megan, Ellissa, Jayden, Brooklyn, Gavin, Ashton, Ashlee, Michelle, & Isabelle. It was loud, rambunctious, messy, chaotic and fantastic all at the same time. We were happy to do it and had so much fun.

After most of the kiddos had gone home, Brooklyn snuggled up wth Khloe while they were watching a movie and played with her. It was so cute, had to share the pictures!

It was such a great time, But we enjoyed at the sound of silence when they all went home.
