More Fun Adventures

On the morning of the 26th, we just lounged around and played with Khloe on the floor with her toys.... She is obsessed with this dancing doggy that she got from Roberta, just obsessed with it. We stopped at a few stores looking for boots for me and had no such luck. But we did end up finding Khloe this lawn mower that clicks, sings and lights up & she has to hold the handle up and push it, so its really a "hit" at home too. She is seriously jogging behind it, laughing and squealing... :D We love it..

We went over to Roberta's for dinner because her brother Kirk, his wife Sue and their two boys; Robbie & Matthew are in town for the week and we wanted to visit. Of course it just so happened that we were having Fried tacos, my favorite nom nom nom. Then we spent the rest of the time, visiting and playing dance dance on the connect.. It is amazing!! We must buy one. If you don't have one, GO GET one, they are so entertaining and you really are the controller, your whole body is graded on how you move. It's so fun!

Tuesday morning we woke up, lounged around the house and played with Khloe. About 2 p.m. we left the house to run a few errands and to meet at Planet Play for a fun afternoon with Roberta, Jim, Michael, Tayden, Brennen, Gavin, Kirk, Sue, Robbie, & Matthew. It was a blast. Khloe rode on the carousel, played on the jungle gym and slide, rode some of the little rides (2 cars) and walked all over the place. She even sat on my lap as we did one arcade game where you lay down and watch as we ride a roller coaster (on screen) and the seats would shake and wiggle. Khloe loved it. It was pretty fun. We played several games, ate great food and had the best company possible. They did laser tag, go carts, arcade games and just spent some great time together. It was great! Right before we left Khloe finally went to Roberta (she is in the stranger Danger stage so this is a big deal) and I was able to get a picture. She wouldn't smile, but she went to her. Right now, we'll take what we can get!

About 8 p.m. we left Planet Play and headed over to Riverton Hospital to see Jason's mom. She had just had a hysterectomy. We of course stopped and got her flowers and went over. Rory and Ellie were there when we walked in. Carol seemed to be feeling good, not in any pain because of the meds & was talking and smiling. Rory & Ellie left a short while later and we started to work with Khloe on walking. 1st try and "voila" she walked to Jason. Then back to me. Then back to Jason. It was incredible to see the look on her face, to know that she could walk now. I was so happy that Carol was able to share that moment with us, one I'll remember forever.

Wednesday I had to go back to work-blah. Still not feeling at 100% but at least I am able to get out and about. Now poor Jason is starting to get sick... :( But he has this entire week off and is home with Khloe. After work on Wednesday when I got home, I sat on the floor to play with Khloe and guess what??? Yeah- she walked again.. Back and forth to Jason and I at least 10 times. AWE.. Our girl is growing up so fast.

Thursday evening after work we again were on the floor and helping Khloe get turned around in order to walk to us. It was so fantastic to see her smile big as she recognized the big accomplishment she had made. After about 20 times, she began to cheat at the walking though, hahaha. She'd take HUGE steps and then just lean forward to our arms and make us catch her.. The little stinker. I am not in a HUGE rush for her to be running all over the place by any means,but its absolutely amazing to see her hold her hands up and out and walk. Our little peanut is getting so big. Our sweet Baby Bear isn't the tiny baby bear that she once was...

What's next? The terrible 2's.. & I can wait for that!!!
