Since we had our Family pictures done in June & saw how excited Khloe got when she saw the horses and the pigs We've been wanting to taking Khloe to the zoo. Well Sunday we did it, "we quit Monkeying around" and took our precious "Monkey" to the zoo.
Then it was off to see the REAL elephants. This was amazing because at first she didn't notice them, she was too busy staring at the little kids next to us, but then the baby Elephant did a little head/trunk stand a
nd she noticed.. hahaha..Also Zuri (think that is her name) copied her mommy & stood on her back legs too. Khloe got sooo excited & spread her arms out and just stared. She wasn't even blinking. She was ENGROSSED in these GIANT creatures she'd only seen on tv and on blankets before this. :D It was so cute to see her just LIGHT up at the sight of them. The mommy Elephant balanced on this concrete beam. It was cool to see. Lots of tricks, turns, and even jumped up on her Hind legs and put her front two hooves on the gate. She was amazing!
She loved every second of it. She was "wide eyed" staring, reaching and squealing at so many things. She was so patient too, cause we'd put her in the stroller and strap her in only to unstrap & pick her up to show her, to put her back in, then get her right back out.. hahahaha. But she did soooo great!!

n we got there, the first place we HAD TO GO, was over to the Elephant.. Not the Elephants, but THE BIG ELEPHANT at the zoo. She was excited to Stand on the trunk.. Then is SPIT the water out and she giggled.. It was sooo great. She is getting big enough now where more things are funny to her, which is PURE entertainment for Jason & I!

We took full advantage of the space. Right after this picture was taken about 15 kids and parents were racing over so it worked out perfect... I love how excited she looks in this picture..hahaha She is sooo precious!

After the show, we went to the Big scale to see how things would add up... But it was even CLOSE to being accurate. Jason was hold Khloe's hands and placed her on the scale.. The darn thing popped up saying "41 pounds" YEAH RIGHT!! NOt even 1/2 that..
But for the fun of it, we continued to mess around.. When all 3 of us were standing on it, it said that we weighed as much as a NEWBORN elephant.. DANG!!! Yeah we are proud of that.. Our lil Family weighed as much a BABY!! hahahaha It is cool that they have these though, a lot of other kids were laughing at it too.
There were SOOOO many amazing animals for Khloe to see: Leopards, Tortoise, black swans, kangaroos, Tigers, buffalo, monkeys, Porcupines, Goats, Bald Eagles, Parrots, Hippos, Elephants, Giraffes,
